The Ed Sheeran and Macklemore fallout keeps escalating. The Wall Street Journal reports that Sheeran and Patriots owner Robert Kraft held a 40-minute phone call over the controversy that got Macklemore dropped from the Loop Tour. The Journal also alleges Macklemore repeated Palestine comments onstage despite promoter assurances to NFL stadium owners, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Macklemore, for his part, is answering with his wallet. The rapper announced he will donate his entire $1 million in Loop Tour earnings to Palestinian aid organizations, Pitchfork reports. And he publicly invited Kraft to match him. Ball's in your court, Bob.
