Céline Dion is officially back — tears and all. The superstar opened her Paris residency with her first full concert in six years. It's her first major run since she stepped away to manage stiff person syndrome. 'I had promised myself not to cry,' she told the crowd, per Variety's report from opening night.

The waterworks were warranted. Billboard's rundown of the night's best moments included a tearful 'On Ne Change Pas' and an a cappella 'All by Myself.' Vulture, meanwhile, noted she couldn't get through the comeback without crying. Variety puts the run at 16 dates, so the happy tears are far from over.
