Adam Driver is officially a mutant. Kevin Feige capped Disney's D23 blowout by unveiling the MCU's first X-Men lineup, per Variety. Driver plays Mr. Sinister, with Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Broadway star Maya Boyd as Storm. Sadie Sink and Kit Connor round out the team as Jean Grey and Cyclops.
The announcement ends years of fan-casting -- and endless speculation over how Marvel would fold the mutants into its cinematic universe. The Hollywood Reporter says the long-awaited reboot is dated for May 2028. That gives fans nearly two years to argue about wigs and hot takes. But one thing is certain: Marvel's marquee team finally has faces.
